8. Governance
OracleX aims to build a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) where the community can actively participate in the future of the project through a decentralized decision-making process.
ORX token holders have the right to submit proposals and vote on important matters in the ecosystem.
This governance mechanism is an important mechanism for increasing the transparency of the project and respecting the interests of ORX token holders to the fullest extent.
Main Voting Subjects:
Prediction Model Updates: Proposals related to improving prediction accuracy, such as the introduction of new algorithms or parameter adjustments to existing models.
API Specification Changes: Proposals related to improving the usability of the API, such as adding new endpoints or adjusting usage fees.
Token Economics Adjustments: Proposals that affect the value of the token, such as changes to the buyback and burn ratio or adjustments to staking rewards.
Approval of Strategic Partnerships: Proposals related to expanding the ecosystem, such as partnerships with other DeFi projects.
Use of Community Funds: Proposals regarding the use of funds for the development of the ecosystem. For example, developer grants, marketing activities, and security audits.
Voting Process:
Proposal: ORX token holders can submit governance proposals according to a prescribed format. Proposals must include a clear purpose, detailed description, and expected effects.
Discussion: Submitted proposals are made public and discussed in community forums and other channels. ORX token holders can freely express their opinions and ask questions or make suggestions for improvement regarding the proposal content.
Voting: After a certain period of discussion, voting takes place. ORX token holders can exercise their voting rights according to their token holdings.
Execution: Proposals approved by voting are executed by the development team. Progress is regularly reported to the community to ensure transparency.
Incentives for Governance Participation:
To encourage active participation in governance, an incentive design is introduced that rewards proposers and voters with ORX tokens.
This reward system is expected to increase the willingness of community members to actively participate and lead to better decision-making.
OracleX aims to build an autonomous and sustainable ecosystem based on the voice of the community through this decentralized governance.
